Your first job with no experience
Entry strategies that work in Metro Manila — what to write, where to look, and what employers actually check.

Sell what you have, not what you lack
No work history is normal at entry level — lead with school projects, org work, family business help, sports or volunteer roles, and the skills they built: reliability, customer handling, basic computer work. A headline like "Recent graduate — fast learner, available for shifting schedules" beats a blank profile.
Target roles built for beginners
Look for listings that say "no experience required" or "fresh graduates welcome" — retail, food service, BPO voice roles, warehouse and admin support hire volumes of first-timers and train on the job. On trab.ph, filter by category and check the requirements line; a listing asking three years of experience is not the place to start.
Make applying easy to say yes to
Upload a clean one-page CV, answer screening questions in full sentences, and reply fast when the employer messages you — responsiveness is the one thing a first-timer can out-compete experienced applicants on. A Certificate of Employment is not needed yet; your school ID and NBI clearance are the documents employers ask for.
Post the company, location, work, and monthly salary range.
