TRAB.PH / METHOD

How employers are reviewed before a listing goes public.

Every role on trab.ph comes from a named, reviewed business. Here is what that review actually checks — and how the ongoing loop keeps the board clean.

What we check

Before any listing becomes public, the employer submits a registered company name, a registration authority (SEC, DTI or an equivalent), a registration number, and a company website. A named reviewer checks that these details describe a real, reachable business — submissions stay private until approved, and every decision is recorded with the reviewer's name and time.

The two verification tiers

Reviewed is the default tier — the business details check out and the listing can go public. Verified is a higher tier earned when we have stronger evidence on file (consistent registration documents, a working business presence) — it earns the verified badge on company pages and listings. Tiers are administrative markers, not endorsements.

Listings are moderated, not just posted

Every submitted role goes into a review queue. Duplicate submissions, stale reposts and listings flagged by the community surface to moderators with the context to act — approve, pause (return to private review) or close. A paused listing leaves public search until the issue is resolved.

The report loop

Anyone signed in can report a listing — misleading pay, suspicious fees, wrong category. Reports are triaged by priority: reports on live listings with multiple reporters and scam indicators come first. Resolving a report records an outcome, can close the listing, and notifies the reporter. Repeat-problem employers lose public access entirely.

What review does not do

Review confirms a business exists and a listing passed moderation — it does not certify the workplace, guarantee the offer, or replace your own checks. Always verify the employer independently, never pay to apply, and read our safety page and scam-spotting guide before sharing documents.
