Pay transparency / TRAB.PH GUIDE

Metro Manila minimum wage in 2026

How the NCR wage board sets the floor, and where to verify the current rate before you negotiate.

Who sets the number

The National Capital Region has its own Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board. Wage orders set the daily minimum for non-agriculture workers and, often, a lower bracket for small establishments — the rates change by wage order, not on a fixed calendar.

Monthly vs daily

Most Metro Manila jobs quote monthly pay. A listing whose monthly figure implies less than the daily minimum across working days is below the floor — check the current wage order and do the maths before accepting. trab.ph requires a stated monthly range so the comparison is visible up front.

Where to verify

The current NCR wage order is published by DOLE and the National Wages and Productivity Commission (nwpc.dole.gov.ph). Rates in this guide age quickly — always confirm against the latest wage order rather than any article, including this one.
