For employers / TRAB.PH GUIDE
Hiring your first employee as a small business
Get the registration, the role definition and the pay range right before the first interview.

Sort your business identity first
Candidates increasingly check SEC or DTI registration before replying — and on trab.ph your registration details are reviewed before any listing goes public. Have your registration number, business website and a working application email ready; employers with documents on file can earn the verified badge that lifts response rates.
Define the role before the person
Write down the five to eight tasks the hire will actually do, the skills those tasks require, and the work setup — on-site, hybrid or remote — plus the city. Vague roles attract unfocused applicants and make screening slower for everyone.
Set an honest pay range
Stated monthly pay is required on trab.ph, and it filters better than any screening question. Check the live aggregates on the salary insights page for your category, then post a range you would genuinely pay — not a ceiling you plan to negotiate down from.
Run a short, structured pipeline
Decide the two or three questions every applicant answers, review applications in batches, and reply — even to decline. Small employers who respond within a few days win candidates that bigger companies lose to their own process. Interview scheduling and applicant tracking are built into your trab.ph account, so the pipeline stays in one place.
Post the company, location, work, and monthly salary range.
