For applicants / TRAB.PH GUIDE
What every application status means
The lifecycle from submitted to hired — and what each stage says about where you stand.

Submitted and reviewing
Submitted means your application reached the employer untouched — the status every new application starts at. Reviewing means a person has opened it and is actively considering you; it is the first real signal, not a promise.
Shortlisted, interviews, hired
Shortlisted means you are on the short list — expect a message or an interview invitation, which appears under My applications with an optional calendar file. Hired is the terminal state: the employer marked you as their pick.
Declined and withdrawn
Declined closes the loop — disappointing, but final, and better than silence. Withdrawn is a status you control: pull an application any time, optionally with a reason the employer sees, and re-apply later if the listing is still live — the reopened application starts a fresh timeline.
